MPP Will Bouma named Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier

QUEEN’S PARK – MPP Will Bouma will take on an additional role with the Ontario Government, being named Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier.

Premier Doug Ford named his parliamentary assistants on Wednesday, almost one week after swearing in his new cabinet.

“I feel honoured to being named and given the responsibility of Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier.” Said Bouma. “I will be working directly with the Premier’s Office, working on important issues that matter most to the people of Ontario, and to my constituents of Brantford-Brant”.

MPP Bouma is taking over the role from MPP Stephen Lecce, who is now taking on the responsibility of Minister of Education. Parliamentary Assistants support the Premier and Ministers with legislative and committee matters, and work with community partners and industry groups.
