I was pleased about the tentative agreement that was reached last night between the Government of Ontario and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
We remain committed to ensuring that our students stay in the classroom and in a safe learning environment. The fact that the students are back in class today reflects the hard work that was put in by both sides of the negotiating table.
I am proud of the efforts put in by both the Government and by Minister Lecce and I am confident that both parties will work together to ensure that our province’s students receive the best possible education.
